Within the framework of a consolidated collaboration with Assimpredil and ESEM-CPT (Unified Training and Safety Body in the Building Industry), Sice Previt regularly organises guided tours of its most important building sites for classes of technical and professional institutes that train students in the building professions.
In the 2023/2024 school year, for example, several classes visited the large building site that Sice Previt was working on in Via Montenapoleone 2, for the renovation of an entire historic building. The project, which falls within the scope of luxury retail, envisages a radical transformation of the interiors to turn the palazzo into four high-fashion shops, as well as preventive structural consolidation and restoration of the exteriors. Visiting such a complex and articulated building site, where the work of reasoned demolition and construction must also dialogue with the need to preserve structures of historical interest, represents a valuable training experience for students, through which they can consolidate their knowledge and familiarise themselves with the reality of the worksite.
These and other Sice Previt sites lend themselves to fruitful collaboration with secondary education institutions. Guided tours and workshops are iniatitives to which we recognise an intrinsic value as an opportunity to transmit knowledge and to help strengthen the link between the world of school and the world of work – particularly in a sector such as construction, which needs new competent and passionate professionals capable of fostering sustainable innovation.
Guided tours of construction sites can also be organised through individual agreements with individual institutes. We invite those interested to contact us by e-mail at segretria.tecnica@siceprevit.com to discuss dates and modalities together.
