Steelwork

The department was established in 2011 to meet the growing demand for metal fittings and furnishings in the luxury retail sector.

The steel technicians, always assisted by the executive design engineers, work in a dedicated area of almost 3,000 square metres, equipped with state-of-the-art plant and equipment such as laser cutting units, welding booths for both laser and TIG welding, and numerically controlled machining centres for the various processes, from cutting to bending.

Among the most recently purchased machinery are two 5-axis milling machines, which allow efficient and rapid execution of the complex machining operations that are increasingly in demand in the luxury sector, and a state-of-the-art machine for cutting metal tubes by laser beam.

The upgrading of machinery and machining techniques, as well as the training of highly specialised workers, are guided by the desire to aim for the highest quality of the finished product and impeccable aesthetics.
