Wood carpentry

The wood carpentry department was started in the 2000s to carry out support activities for construction sites, but it soon transformed into a production department for high-end furniture designed to measure for private homes and stores in the fashion and luxury industry.

The optimization of construction design and production, achieved in part through technologically advanced industrial lines, guarantees finishes of the highest level of craftsmanship.

The department is equipped with several work centers: versatile and modern machinery that, combined with the experience and expertise of the specialized operators, allow Sice Previt to deal with complex and even experimental processing at its best.

An important part of the joinery’s activity, which represents the largest department of the factory (over 6000 square meters), consists in the creation of mock-ups: life-size prototypes of the furniture complements made according to the project. This phase makes it possible to assess together with the Client the adequacy of the work done and to identify any changes to be made during the course of the work, according to a working methodology based on continuous dialogue that makes production more effective and sustainable for both parties.

The pursuit of efficiency and quality is welded with attention to social and environmental sustainability: in fact, the department is equipped with powerful suction and filtration systems for dust resulting from mechanical processing, and an electrical system with inverters to calibrate energy consumption according to actual needs at the time. Finally, processed timbers have a very low formaldehyde content.
