Decoration

The decoration ateliers were created in 2012 in response to the need to obtain an increasingly high level of finished product and to expand Sice’s production capacity to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the luxury sector.

The decorators who animate this department are multifaceted professionals, endowed with a variety of complementary skills and abilities related to restoration, visual and plastic arts, as well as extensive and consolidated experience.

Characterized by a constant orientation toward innovation, the department’s activity combines the use of state-of-the-art technologies with the artful execution of craft applications such as gilding, the production of plaster casts and stucco, imprimitura, antiquing and patination of a variety of surfaces (from wood to metal, from mirrors to stucco, plasterwork, marbling, and even leather dyeing).

Sice decorators are also able to create free-standing furniture, podiums, resin paneling, and a multitude of fine finishes that go into coating furniture with glass microspheres, color glazes, fabrics, or even concrete.

The department is configured as a true laboratory of experimentation, where the complementary skills of the various figures are integrated for the purpose of making the most imaginative ideas concrete. Over the years, the finishes developed and the materials studied have multiplied and have gone on to constitute a rich materioteca to which Clients can refer to in order to have an overview of the workings that can be carried out.

Close cooperation with other departments also allows the most advanced industrial technology to be exploited to produce the tested finishes in a serial manner. Particular synergy has in particular developed with the carpentry department, where life-size prototypes of the stores, not infrequently including finishes, are located, useful for assessing the progress of the work together with the Customer.
