Decoration

The decoration department was established in 2012 to expand Sice Previt’s production capacity and adapt it to the ever-changing needs of the luxury retail sector, which demanded an increasingly high-quality finished product.

The decorators who animate this department are multifaceted professionals, endowed with a variety of complementary skills and abilities related to restoration and the visual and plastic arts, as well as extensive and consolidated experience.

Characterized by a constant orientation toward innovation, the department’s activity combines the use of state-of-the-art technologies with the artful execution of craft applications such as gilding, the production of plaster casts and stucco, imprimitura, antiquing and, finally, patination of a variety of surfaces (including wood, metal, mirrors, stucco, plasterwork, marbling, and even leather dyeing).

Sice decorators are also able to create free-standing furniture, podiums, resin paneling, and a multitude of fine finishes that go into coating furniture with glass microspheres, color glazes, fabrics, or even concrete.

The department is configured as a true laboratory of experimentation, where the complementary skills of the various team members are brought together to make the most imaginative ideas a reality. Over the years, the range of finishes developed and materials studied has grown, constituting a rich materioteca that Clients may refer to for an overview of the possible workings which can be carried out.

Close cooperation with the other departments also allows the decorators to exploit the most advanced industrial technology in order to produce the developed finishes in a serial manner. Particular synergy has been established with the woodwork department, where life-size prototypes of the pieces of furniture and/or stores, often including finishes, are assembled in order to assess the progress of commissioned work together with the Customer.
