Sice Previt cultivates collaborations with the world of research and training, both at secondary and university level, also with a view to strengthening its link with the world of work.
With this in mind, we propose throughout the year the possibility of participating in guided tours of our plant in Segrate, on the outskirts of Milan, and in particular of its production departments (joinery – steel – heavy carpentry – decoration – marble and glass – painting), where cutting-edge technologies and innovative techniques for the production of high-end furniture are experimented with, combining craftsmanship with engineering and automation.
The Open Days are open both to specific university courses that focus on relevant topics, and to classes of Secondary Education Institutes, in particular Technical and Professional Institutes that wish to offer an insight into today’s manufacturing world to their students.
Receiving visiting students is an opportunity to disseminate knowledge to which we recognise an intrinsic value, as well as – we hope – a way to foster the development of greater awareness of the world of work and its connection with scientific and technological research. Creating synergies with the world of research and building a solid bridge with secondary education, enabling skills, knowledge and interests to bear fruit, are all objectives that are close to our hearts.
If you would like to participate in a guided tour of our company, please contact us at segreteria.tecnica@siceprevit.com specifying whether you are a student, graduate/undergraduate, secondary school teacher or professional (in which case a CV is welcome). We will write you back to arrange a date!
